Cynthia Gable, LCSW

Seeking support is often times the hardest thing we can do, but here you are taking the first steps.  I acknowledge your courage and your decision to seek support during this time in your life.

Know, that you don't have to face your challenges alone and I offer a space where you can come as you are.

My hope is that we work collaboratively to discover your strengths and to gain clarity of what you value most.  With this, we can begin to build resources to get you to a place you want to be.

I embrace diversity and will hold space for you without judgment.  I offer individual therapy in English and Spanish to teens, college students/young adults, and adults.

My areas of focus are anxiety, depression, trauma, maternal mental health, self-esteem, body image issues, relationships, perfectionism, life transitions, racial/cultural issues, wellness goals, stress management, and work/career issues.

diversity and authenticity, self-inquiry and connection, creativity, light-heartedness

My approach

I embrace diversity, and I honor who you are and how you identify. With this understanding, I hope to build an authentic client/therapist relationship.  We will work together guided by self-inquiry to further make a connection to what it is you are seeking in the therapeutic process.  I also see therapy as creative, a way to cultivate new ways of addressing and supporting your unique needs. I welcome light-heartedness and humor into our sessions.  I believe therapy does not have to feel stuffy.

I am trained in several evidence-based approaches, my modalities include strength-based, culturally affirming, I utilized Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT,) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness practices and somatic psychotherapy.
